Alter and the environment
Alter Enersun was established in 2009 with the vision to become one of the first reference companies in the renewable energy sector. It is currently standing out due to its experience in the development of own photovoltaic installations for the sale of energy, the operation of which it is taking on.
In 2024, Alter Group will achieve a generation capacity of more than 1.000Gwh/year in 160 photovoltaic installations on public building rooftops and ground.
Present in Spain, Italy and Portugal, Alter Enersun is participating in large green hydrogen projects for energy-intensive consumers, with a planned investment of more than 1.1 billion euros until 2027.

Therefore Alter Group is working to achieve sustainability objectives, specially those in which it has a major capacity to act. In order to achieve it, we are committed to the constant training of our teams, the innovation of our designs, the dissemination of renewable energies and to working locally with each local community where we interact.
Alter collaborates with different entities and local administrations in terms of dissemination, training and advice on photovoltaic installations. Likewise, it is involved in holding informative sessions in educational centers to publicize the advantages of renewable energies and responsible energy consumption.
Alter sets as its essential objective the search for solutions to minimize the impact of its activity and projects, pursuing the best integration and prioritization over solutions with greater economic profitability.
