Alter Enersun is currently in the final phases of construction and commissioning of three photovoltaic plants located in the municipality of Cáceres. These are the plants Cáceres 2020 (50,83MWp), Cáceres 2021 (53,01 MWp) and Cáceres 2023 (32,83MWp). The estimated annual production for the entire project is about 250.000 MWh, which would mean generating sufficient clean energy to supply about 72.400 households. Furthermore, it should be noted that thanks to this production the annual emission of approx. 238.000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere can be avoided.
